Launch Film:
We The Creatives
We’ve come a long way from our roots with dramatic improvements to our facilities, new partnerships in the Film & TV industries, joining the Danes Educational Trust and a continued focus on compassionate classroom learning. In 2020 we made the exciting journey to re-identify as Elstree Screen Arts Academy (ESA): a name which aligns us more closely with our specialism and contains established educational meaning. This is our mantra - Love Learning, Make Magic.
Why Our Kind of Education Matters
In the film above, we catch up with several ESA Alumni members to see how their time with us has helped them succeed across the creative industries.
Virtual Tour
This immersive tour was crafted by Alumni member Seb Alfano in 2018. Whilst a few things have changed (such as the development of our new Drama stages, music production suites and library facility on the Stage 2 3rd floor) this tour still provides a great sense of the expansive creative spaces available to our students.
Seb Alfano - Alumni
Since leaving ESA, Seb has established several production companies specialising in emerging content creation technologies including immersive 3D capture (like the ESA tour) and drone image capture for both commercial/business use and Film & TV. His former clients include Addidas, Jaguar, DIY SOS, Streamers Connected and Wembley Stadium. Seb also supported us in the production of our original council-funded short film ‘Do Not Disturb’. You can learn more about Seb’s time at ESA in the film ‘Why Our Kind of Education Matters’ above.
