Danes Educational Trust

Our parent Multi-Academy Trust.

The Danes Educational Trust is a multi-academy trust working to develop optimistic, resilient learners and valued, empowered staff through local, national and global partnerships.

It was established as a multi-academy trust in June 2016, converting from a single academy trust, St Clement Danes School, to allow the establishment of Croxley Danes School, based in Croxley Green. In 2020, Elstree Screen Arts Academy joined the Trust.

The Danes Educational Trust is led by Dr Josephine Valentine OBE and is based at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood - a town in South West Hertfordshire close to Junction 18 of the M25.

There are currently nine schools in Danes Educational Trust: St Clement Danes School, Croxley Danes School, Chancellor's School, Onslow St Audrey's, De Havilland Primary School, Elstree Screen Arts Academy, Lanchester Primary School, Ascot Road Primary School and Jupiter Primary School.

Please visit the DET website to learn more about our Multi-Academy Trust vision, our schools and the opportunities which exist to work within our trust.

Our vision is to develop hubs of excellence comprising primary and secondary schools, focused around their local community. We equip our learners with the skills they need to become curious, creative and courageous and ensure that our school environments are places where their talents are nurtured, so that they become happy and confident 21st century global citizens. We are a family of schools and we make the difference together as one trust.
